Hampton Hill Spiritualist Church has become a home from home for me. Martin’s classes have a very warm feel and make all newcomers most welcome. He has the ability to be nurturing while maintaining a very high standard of mediumship and encouraging very specific evidence. I feel personally that he is a natural teacher and makes Hampton Hill the best place to attend for anyone wishing to discover and develop their skills at all levels. I have been impressed by his ability to keep each lesson fresh and challenging and his humour makes learning enjoyable. Not only that, you will get a thorough hand-out at the end of each class going over everything covered in the class. He just seems to go above and beyond all previous circles and classes I’ve been to before. For example due to some of the regular attendees sometimes missing a class, Martin has begun to record each class on DVD! What more can I say? I’m amazed how each class costs less than a fiver! I started attending Martin's mediumship classes in August 2008. I had done a lot of training in mediumship as to the how to do it, however I felt like I was lacking in the theory behind it. Martin is one of those rare teachers who willingly shares all his knowledge. He is open to opinions or views that others may have and teaches in a way that firstly is easy and logical to follow, secondly his good sense of humour makes it fun and thirdly you leave his class with a positive and clear understanding. Each class that he runs monthly follows a different theme and if you are unfortunate to miss it you can catch it on DVD! We are very lucky in that Martin holds several circles a month at our church and also a mediumship class and a speakers and philosophers class. A number of us attend regularly and there is no doubt that we have benefited as well as really enjoying the classes which are conducted with patience and humour.
